August - Animal Antics
Hi everyone. Geraldine here and its my turn to host the challenge for August.
I thought it would be lovely if we could forget about the ups and downs of human life for a while and turn our attention to the 4 footed creatures we share the earth with and acknowledge the joy and inspiration they bring to our lives. I'm thinking of not just the pets some of us share our homes with but also zoo animals, wild animals and even animals in fiction such as Black Beauty and Brer Rabbit (my childhood super hero!). You might also find some inspiration for your crafting from the animals in mythology - Dragons, Unicorns.....
Please share your makes and creations with us - there are some great prizes up for grabs this month.

Prize 2: $15 gift voucher to spend at Little Snippets. If you haven't visited this Etsy store before, you must take a look! It's owned by our very own DT member Geraldine and has beautiful original embellishments

Prize 4: 3 digital images of winner choice from Bella Design Studio
Daphne who is the owner of Belle Studio very kindly offered the design team some of her images to work with this month.......thank you Daphne!
And our bonus prize this month is a guest design team spot for the month of October.
The winner of the DT spot (if they choose to accept) will have a month to make 2 (or more) projects for the October challenge.
If you would like to be entered for the guest DT spot, please add the letters GD after your namewhen you leave a link to your project with Mr Linky.
Please remember to check back later today to see last months challenge winners and our guest designer for September will also be announced then.
Remember that to qualify for a prize there are a few "rules"..
I. You may enter the Challenge as many times as you like but you must enter with a different
craft every time, for example 1 card, 1 layout, 1 altered item, 1 knitted item etc Any
duplicate entries using the same craft will be deleted.
2. You must mention our Challenge Blog on your post with a link back to By the Cute and Girly
3. You may combine with any other challenges but it must be a new creation, no back linking to
older posts.
4. Leave a direct link to your blog post, not just your blog, as it takes the design team much longer to look for your creation if you dont leave a direct link.

ReplyDeleteAnd I just made a card with this option.
It's a simple card but, that can't take away the fun of making it! I used a gesp which I used one of a soda-can! Recycling is the motto of this card. Used old paper and old stars which fall of x-mascard last year! So have fun with watching!

At first I want to say many many thanks for this challenge,because I love chimps and I want to make some card with chimps.So I leave my link for this challenge.The DT creation is always nice and very versatile.:-)
